Hey Guys,
Sorry it's been a while updating you but we bumped into two alcholholics by the name of Tina and Paul. Nah seriously we have been having a buzz, we done our train journey from Chiang Mai to Bangkok which was a lovely 12 hrs but was comfy and sound as we had a little cabin on our train which had beds in. After arriving in Bangkok at 6am we decided to hang around a bit then got a cab to Tina and Paul's hotel which was lovely. We just turned up and they were suprised and glad to see us, not as much as we was them as we stunk and needed a shower ha. We got a good deal in the same hotel as them and Tina kindly paid for a night for us (Thanks Ti x). We got dressed and made our way to the dentist as me and Jonjo had already arranged an appointment. It took us ages to find it as the taxi driver didn't speak very good English or he was bumping the fare up a little ha. Get's to the dentist and has our scrape and polish and Paul had an X-Ray, total cost was 20 odd quid which is well cheap. After that we went to get something to eat and mooch around the shops then Tina, Paul and Jonjo all went for a massage (I was holding out for a pedicure).
Later that night we went to Chinatown for lovely authentic thai food, chillied moules, snapper, calamri and rice (gorgeous). We devoured that and then took Tina and Paul down where we stayed in Khao San Rd, they loved it as it was mental just like us. We introduced them to Samsung buckets which is Thai Rum, (we originally thought it was whiskey) and whatever mixers you like, we get Red Bull and Coke yummy!! I promised them they wouldn't have a hangover as me and Jonjo hadn't yet suffered one from the buckets as they have lots of ice in. Paul called me a fu***n liar the next day as he was suffering (Hardcore my Arse Thommo). They had a trip the next day to the floating market and me and J were going to the biggest market in Bangkok. We didn't complete it all and we were there for 3 hrs, this market sold everything from food to t-shirts to your nan (No serious they sold loads of animals and everything possible). The second night in Bangkok we went to Patpong and had 'normal' food spaghetti carbonara for me, T and Paul and Chillied Catfish for Jonjo. We were going to see a ping pong show for a buzz then I got sick after a few drinks and had to go home plus we had a flight to catch at 6 am the next day to Samui. We have been in Samui now for a week and unfortunately Tina and Paul are going back to sunny Liverpool tomorrow (we will miss you both). So we have done a deal with the Thai guy where we are staying to stay for a month at a hefty price of 128 quid for the month (boss or what). We are loving Samui and the lovely beaches and are going to rent a moped and explore the Island and see what else it has to offer us. Hope you have enjoyed the pics so far and we will add more sometime this week.
See Yas !!
