"Hurry up! Hurry up!" I say, as all the ingrediants still boil away an hour later..
Tonight I cooked myself dinner, a real meal! I have been eating dinner since I arrived but, boxed noodles, biscuits, plain noodles, take outs, isn't quite what you'd call 'cooking' So lots of vegetables, brown rice and curry powder. Not too sure what I was planning on making but it turned out to be a kind of risotto and I liked it, luckily, as I was so hungry after work. Made enough for my lunch tomorrow too, tomorrow being my day off, yes!
I'm hoping, weather permitting and if I actually find my way, to go to the only hill in our province. On the way up there is a Catholic Church and at the top it's meant to be a great view, so that's why I want the weather to stay as nice as it has been. Sun breaking through, taking away that bitter, cold wind.
Four nice lessons today. With the two winter classes, I did half the lesson teaching and the other half enjoying ourselves designing aeroplanes.
In Level 1 class, Elaine was celebrating her birthday. She was so excited about having her birthday at school, she brought her cake to share and what a cake it was. Very tasty.
Yesterday I managed to use a Chinese washing machine, after taking a photo and asking Felix what buttons to push. Pretty simple really. Nothing shrinked and nothing smelt. Job done!
