We went to Wanaka via the Bushmans cafe. Now this cafe is apparently famous for their possum pies but alas we did not try one! Shocking that eh!

Instead we sat in the museum bit and watched a fil-m about deer catching in New Zealand. They basically jump out of helicopters onto a deers back and the hook him up to the chopper and fly away! All this was shown to the backing music of Dangerzone which gave everyone a Top Gun giggle! (No playing with the boys though!)

After the film we went and fed some possums and there was a viewing hatch which you could look through....but which was all a lie and which squirted you on your head with water! We didnt fall for it but the girl in front of Emma did and nearly had a heartattack!

There was also a giant pig (pot bellied type! so cute!) that just lay down as though it wanted you to pat his belly! All in all it was a very amusing place and the bloke that owns it is just insane but in a really really good way!

On to Wanaka which had absolutely stunning views of the lake and mountains surrounding Queenstown. But the most exciting thing about Wanaka....aside from the fact that Top Gun was being shown in each room that evening was........

THERE WAS A BATHTUB IN OUR ENSUITES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You have no idea how excited we were! We havent had a bath in 11 weeks!!! (and yes we have washed but just not in a bath!) We were so excited I cant even tell you! Good times good times!
