Hello again from Quito. Today we went exploring round the old town of Quito with Brent as our tour guide. It´s great having someone who knows the place to show us round. We went to la Basilica and went right up to the top of the belfry. We had a fantastic view of Quito. I cant get over how massive it is. It´s 8km wide and 50 to 70km depending on who you talk to´. Hello! I´ve arrived safely in Quito, and my luggage arrived and Jenny was there at the airport! Was such a relief to see a familiar face after all that travelling alone. We then got a taxi back to the homestay. We have our own room with am en-suite bathroom and another little room that has a desk and a cupboard in it.
