Today was a much more chilled day after the relative business of yesterday. I woke up about half 7, and just led in bed catching up on the surf reports and Facebook etc on my phone. Woke up about 7am after a pretty good sleep and on looking out the window it looked like a nice day, so it reinforced my plans to go to Australia Zoo. This morning I got up at 5:30am to see off the family, as they were leaving for the airport super early. It was very strange waving them off, from their own house which I am staying in without them! Well this is going to by the most boring blog update I have done for a long time I think: I got up even earlier than yesterday morning to go for a surf, as the winds were meant to pick up earlier. Today there was predicted to be a small clean swell around, and no wind first thing in the morning, so I got up super early for a surf. I was on the road down to Caloundra by 6am, and in the sea by 6:45am. As predicted it was really small, but due to it being over cast and drizzly first there was absolutely no wind, and it still hadn't picked up by the time I got out.. It was great to be back in the water again, I really enjoyed it. I cant wait to sell my board...
