Travel to Rome -- Packing up and dragging our stuff back up the hill/steps was not fun but our driver, Allessandro, was there waiting for us. He had the foresight to tailgate someone else in so we did not have to zig zag up all the way up the long steep driveway with our bags.

Squeezing through the tight Amalfi coast roads we were on our way to Napoli. We pulled off the road for some croissants and capachinos before starting the longer leg of the trip to Roma. We arrived in Rome and Alex got us pretty close to our destination. After a bit of a walk and a bit of a wait, Valeria greeted us and let us in to this wonderful little apartment.

It is very nice indeed. Before unpacking, we went out for a short stroll the ended up covering several miles of territory. North to the Plaza del Popolo and then to the Castle of Saint Angelo. We sat a couple of blocks down from the main entrance to St. Peter's Square and listened to the 6:00 ringing of the bells. We then went home to begin unpacking.
