From Cusco we headed to Puno on Lake Titikaka, not realising how cold it would be. I actually wore 4 layers, a scarf, hat and gloves in the hostel at all times! Our journey to Colombia could be described in lehmans terms as a complete f***ing nightmare. Our flight was cancelled due toi heavy fog and new flights were arranged for us. Only this meant 7 hours in the airport after a sleepless night in the bus from Rio to Sau Paulo.
