Today was our last day in shanghai so we woke up around 11 (very tired), packed up all out stuff and left it at reception. We went to the little street food man and picked up more noodles for breakfast. His noodles were ace, il miss that guy! Apparently having westerners eat your food attracts more locals business, and he was always chuffed we were buying his food! Mel and I also picked up a footlong subway each. One for dinner on the train and then one for breakfast on the train. Yum!
We checked our train tickets and got our bags to head to shanghai south railway station. Just as we were about to head out the door the heavens opened. I have never seen so much rain or lighting in my life! It was intense. We arrived at the tube station like two drowned rats. About an hour later we were seated on the hard sleeper. As long as there are no earthquakes, this train was fine! We got settled, talked, played games, ate our subs then lights out!
