Today I catch a slow boat to Pak Ou caves. It is a buddhism temple situated inside a cave. I only went to the lower cave as when I saw the steps to the upper caves it was a long way up, so I gave up. I heard from other people from the group that it was pretty dark in it so I was glad I did not make an attempt to go up.

When I returned back to Luang Prabang I went to the national museum, where they had a display of what it was like for the Kings and Queens of Laos to lives in their home as they were still living there.

I then went over the road and went up to That Chomsi temple which consider of 328 steps to get up. I was glad I did do it was it was very pretty and there was a lovely view of Luang Prabang and I was able to see how small the city was (26 000 people).

Tonight will be an early night as I will be heading to China tomorrow morning and will have to catch a sleeper bus at 7.00 am.
