Today I took an easy day and walked and then cycled my around this city. It is a beautiful city which is listed as world heritage by the UN. It has old French colonial and old style Laos building. There are numerous of bamboo bridges which is required to cross the smaller river of Nam Kam. Crossing the river would lead to a totally different suburban town where the people live much rougher and the road is not unpaved. I crossed the river only to go to a nice weaving village where they sold silk and weaving. I certainly believe the price was much cheaper there.
Tonight I went to out for dinner and enjoyed a Xmas dinner which consider of meat which included turkey, beef, pork, and buffalo with a vegetable broth and it was just beautiful. I pay a grand total of 55000 K (Aust).
