Just a small blog to sum up our most productive day yet before we leave for the seven hour bus journey to Christchurch in the morning. We're feeling very satisfied with our days work despite both of us now seeing first hand how "thin the ozone layer is ", as a very wise pharmacist man told me earlier today, which at the time I thought nothing of. This now means we are borderline lobsters but at least we have the bus journey to soak in aftersun. Today started with the Shotover Jet which was a nice adrenaline activity that was actually on ground level this time. We decided after that to take a trip on the Skyline Cable Car to the mountain top where we were easily persuaded to do two races on the "luge" track which I've put pictures up of too. An hour and four Corona's later, back at the bottom of the mountain we stumbled across an indoor mini-golf course that we thought we couldn't turn down, and this wasn't just because if we'd stayed out in the sun for any longer we'd be admitted to hospital. After a heated contest we decided it was time to have a rest back at the hostel after 10 hours out in the New Zealand summer sun which is where I am now writing this, questioning how much of a good idea it would be to head out for a saturday night in Queenstown as our coach leaves at 8am tomorrow morning . .
