Today we woke early again.     Fishing was on the agenda for today so Neil and Terry got the rods all geared up and we headed to the western beach to fish. We decided that Melanie was well enough to travel to Cape Leveque today, so we set off as early as we could given that she was still feeling unwell. the first 90km of the trip was on severely corrugated sand road.   It was so bad in some spots we couldn't even get to 70kmh.Finally got past the first 90km and guess what, nice bitumen roadway. It was a horrible start to the day. Woke early and left ready for Fitzroy crossing. A very warm day. This drive displayed the devastation of the floods.   A lot of damage to the roads and one of the main bridges and stretches of road leading out of Kununurra had been completely destroyed. The new radiator in Tanya and Terry's car was replaced today. The car went to the workshop at 7.30am. Both Terry and Tanya relieved to say the least. Everybody just hung around the camp site today.   Sharon and Tanya did washing ready to head off and packed up. All went for a lazy dip in the river. Off to Fitzroy Crossing tomorrow.
