This morning we all woke up at 5am as planned ready to leave by 6am. Whilst we were packing up a lady came up to Joanna and said "Don't you have any consideration for other travellers, Poles banging, Zips going. You should have left last night." When Joanna told Neil, he was really angry that the woman had came up to a young person instead of speaking to an adult. We left the caravan park at 6:30am, then for breakfast we went to McDonald’s in town. Our first stop was at the'Tropic Of Capricorn’ marker. The Tropic of Capricorn is a line that goes around the earth that is the start of the tropics for the southern hemisphere. We stopped for a quick photo then we were back on the road. Just down the road we took photos at the Devil’s Marbles and had a toilet stop. Ever since seeing Devil’s Marbles on getaway Melanie and Joanna have always wanted to go there. It is a massive pile of sand stone rocks together, but it goes for kilometres. It is definitely worth seeing.
A few hour away we stopped at Tennant Creek, which is where we had a petrol stop. It was nothing like we imagined it to be. It was such a clean, nice town.
We arrived at Mataranka just before dark and setup camp.
