Hi everyone! Well I have been here a month and I am still loving Australia (where does all the time go?). This past weekend I went on a bus tour with my appartment complex to the Great Ocean Road. It was pretty neat. We spent a long time in the bus but I got to take some amazing pictures along the way. We stopped at Bells Beach, Koala Cove, Apollo Bay, The Tweleve Appostles (pictured above) and a gorge that I forgot the name of. My favorite part was seeing the wild koalas. They have the life- just eating and sleeping all day. Everything is going well. The weather is still nice and summery. All my classes are really interesting. I am learning about Australian Wildlife Biology (next week we are going to the Melbourne zoo), Experimental Animal Behaviour ( I am going to be studying foraging behaviour in urban possums), Education in Natural Landscapes ( we get to go on camping fieldtrips for this class), and Sport and Education in Australian Society (this class is awesome). Today I joined the mountaineering club and hope to go on a lot of fun adventures with them - I may even learn the sport of canoe polo. Everyone is warm and friendly here. As the license plates say- Victoria- the place to be!
