Lets take this gig global!!
Yodondo guys,
Well I have had the most relaxed few days of my life!!
We are really enjouying Palolem and everyday we say we're gonna move on the next but decide to stay yet another night! Its gone from 2 days to 5 now! The beach is just amazing. Like I said, its pure sand everywhere and have got fully used to just walking absolutely everywhere barefoot. its concaved with lines and lines of coconut trees poking out. We prwetty much did nothing the first day as we needed to catcth up on sleep after the journey but after that I'v ebeen loving it and has been the most active part of trip so far! theres always loads of games of cricket and football and volleybal going on so me and steve have been getting involved most days (plyed footy for an hour yesterday and have never sweated so much in my life! drank 3 litres of water after just to re-hydrate!!
The favourit time of day tho for me is the mornings as me and Fi are up by 7/ 7:30am and go for runs along the beach which is bearable as its cooler then and you can take in the fisherman loading up their boats and heading out and watch the groups of people doing yoga while the sun comes up from the horizon! Bliss! we then have a little swim to cool off and head to Rainbow cafe for breakfast! the food here is amazing and the best yet! One of the best things ever is the banana and coconut porridge! I've had it everyday and am defo gonna try and recreate it once I'm home. In fact pretty much anything with cocnut in is awesome, the curries, ice cream, feni (liquor), pancakes etc! All good. we are eating loads so the workouts are a must to keep that beach bod 'toight'! haha!
Been chilling loads too and just enjoying the sun (although its almost unbearable between 12 and 3pm). We've been to butterfly island asqwell which was ok and saw massive butterflys (as you may expect!) they are huge tho, easily as big as a birds! Have spent today at Patnem beach a 20 min walk around the southern cove. Its a lot quieter and we also found our own privtae beach! Its in a hidden cove next to patnem and there is simply no-one there. it must be a private beach or something as behind a line of trees are massive white villas with a golf course and all securitised. We reckon the Bollywood stars live there or something. Its defo elite as the shores are alos lined with big boats and jetskis to get to them. But there was not a sole there today! me and Fi even did some skinny dipping!! Quality!
Gonna go for another slap up meal tonight after watching yet another sunset and the fisherman blessing their daily catch- littering the shore with flowers and coconut shells filled with insense! Nice.
Anyways best go. We may head to Agonda tomo but we are not sure yet so I'll keep you posted.
so "susegrad' to you all
Easy now
dan
