After motoring from Frontignan to Aigues-Mortes we decided to moore and take a look around. We saw what seemed to be a giant castle named Aigues-Mortes castle, then decided to take a closer look.
When we hopped off the boat we saw an other group of 3 women having a little bit (a lot) of trouble roping up. One of the laddies even fell into the water with all her clothes on! :o
By the time we had climbed the the first side of the wall the temperature was already 32•c and it was still quite early in the morning! When we were about half way around we decided that we had had enough, but soon discovered that there was NO exit :(and had to walk the whole thing! There was beautiful views of the town, guarded by the walls and the river for the boats on the outside, something we all enjoyed.
We then thought that to make it back to Agde in time we must start the journey back. By night fall we had made it back to Frontignan to enjoy a good nights rest. zZzZzZ
