Next Morning Mitch & I were up @ 5.30, walked 1km down the beach & were fishing by 6.30am.
We rigged up with wire traces & gang hooks & were ready for anything!
Tric & Tom joined us about 8.30, we had a couple of bites then I hooked onto a nice blue threadfin salmon.
Not long after that the Sharks moved in & were chomping everything, taking the trace as well, so we pulled up stumps.
We had the Salmon for tea it was beautiful.
I went back down the beach at high tide around 10pm, after about half an hour I hooked a nice little grey reef shark about 600mm, home about 11.30 & put him in the fridge.
The next morning, back down the beach again & got a nice Shovel Nose Shark & Tric caught small one that committed hurry curry on the hook while she was swimming (-:
Fresh flake for tea (-:
It was good to be finally catching a few fish!
