Alright people, i'll male this one fairly short 'cus i just typed out a fair few paragraphs and the site decided to delete it all for me, which was helpful. In Rockhampton now, 'The Beef Capital of Australia'. I've labelled this section of the trip 'cultural encounters', as i didn't know how to categorise 'i came here for a steak'. Apart from eating huge amounts of beef, there isn't much to do here, so it's probably a good thing we're only here for a day or so. Arrived here yesterday from Airlie Beach, where we did the a bit of sailing round the whitsunday Islands. Saw some great views and relaxed on the whitest beach i've ever seen but, unfourtunately, i had to put a dampner on it all, by combining a hangover, from the first night on the boat, with a bout of seasickness, on our only full day. Was still good though. Anyway, i'm off again. I'm really hoping to have some pictures up next time to make this site actually wort a view, rather than just being a place for me to ramble on about b******s!
