The kids are great to be with and its good to get to know them and their families, and show we accept and care for them. I am now in Jhalarapatan! The town closest to where I'll be volunteering!! From Delhi we stopped on the way at Jaipur for a day of orientation which was really interesting - we had presentations on the Kanjars (the caste we will be working with), Women in India (also very sad situation) and on learning Hindi (I'm trying!).
