I have now left the state of Rajasthan and spent most of the last week in Delhi.

I was so blessed to stay with a wonderful family that I met on the plane coming into India! They showed me the best hospitality and really took me in as one of them. It was great to be able to relax & have fun with them. They had to kids who are 12 & 14 years old and a dog even crazier than Pongo!

I did fit in some sightseeing too - the Red Fort, Qutb Minar (both Mughal remains), India Gate and of course... the Taj Mahal! It was even more amazing to see in real life!! So many people as well.

Now I'm in the extremely holy city of Varanasi set on the Ganges River with many ghats where people can come to wash away their sins. Also it is a very auspicious place to die so many people at that stage come and I've seen the cremation of a few corpses down by the river. This place is full of holy men and touts and is by far the smelliest city I've been in! I love the craziness!

Got a 26hr train journey to Mumbai to look forward to!
