Bangkok.......again!

Helloooo! Just a short little entry today, have booked my bus to Siem Reap in Cambodia today and i leave tomorrow mornin at 7am! Am excited cos i think this part of my travels will be a real adventure, have heard lots of stories from people ive met about Cambodia, some people love it some people....not so much, but im glad im going there to make up my own mind! Really looking to seeing Angkor Wat and all the temples around there - when i say Angkor, you say what.....ANGKOR! WHAT?!......yeah.....anyway, excited bout going there! The lady in the travel place i booked my ticket says its an adventure and very different to Thailand which is good to hear! Bangkok is fun but i can only cope with it for a few days at a time! Oh yeah, i bought myself the most amazing pair of pantaloons you've ever seen! They're like aladdin trousers/mc hammer trousers! Yeah i can hear you all laughin but when i come back with these babies on, you'll all want a pair! They're loose and airy and cool, and good for covering up with when i visit the temples, and keepin the mozzies off my legs! Bought some uber-extra-triple-ultra mosquito repellent too cos they keep attackin me!

Thought i'd update now cos i have no idea what the internet connections are going to be like in Cambodia, probably alot slower than here so may not be able to write as often! After Siem Reap, the plan (i think) at the minute is then to go to Phnom Penh but that could all change when i get there! But will let you know when i know! Then after that onto Vietnam, but word on the grapevine is theres really bad flooding in Hanoi at the mo, so travel is very difficult if not impossible - hopefully that will have cleared up by the time i get there :)

Realised today that its (kinda) nearing christmas, strange cos theres absolutely no sign of it over here but im sure the shops are rammed full back home! And ive been away for a month now which is an odd feeling, im missing lots of stuff now:

1. All my family
2. All my friends
3. Hugs off any of the above!
4. Gravy!.....roast dinners......mash potato ... mmmmmmm
5. Ribena or squash of any kind! They DO NOT have it here :( but means im drinkin loadsa water which is good but i just want some blackcurranty goodness!
6. Custard!....apple crumble.....rhubarb crumble.......swiss roll!.......CAKE!!!! I WANT CAKE!
7. Hot showers (even tho its hot, and cold showers are refreshing, they're not relaxing!)
8. Baths!
9. Having fixed prices for things you buy and not having to haggle for things!, and the ability just to browse in shops (not understood over here!) IM JUST LOOKING!!!!!!!.......and
10. The good old english pound! Its tiring tryin to figure out how much ur spending when its like 400 baht for summat, and thats just 7/8 quid.....its only gonna get worse in Cambodia...its 4029 Riel to 1 US dollar.........yeah, i have no idea - but ive got this far so im sure i'll figure it out!
11. Oh yeah..........and SAFE ROADS!!

Anyway, gonna go and tucked up in bed now - traded in my old book for a new one :)
