'ALLLOOOOO!!
So i spent a few days looking around Ko Samui and decided its not the place for me! Too much like Magaluf! Which is fine if i was after that sorta holiday but im not! Hence the picture of the Sangsom Buckets!! I did go to the beach party i mentioned before which was fun, but i dont wanna be spendin all my money on drink! Im not a big drinker at home so should i bloody start now eh?!? I ventured down to Lamai to see Hin Yai and Hin Ta (Grandmother and Grandfather Rocks)...these are two natural rock formations that are said to be the origins of the 'Mui' people - thery're shaped like a ladys bit and a mans bits he heee!! Funny to look at, and you get stunning views of the coast line back up the island. Being the pro photographer that i am, i got my camera out to take a pic aaaaand my battery ran out!! So no pics im afraid, but you can easily find em on t'interweb if ya wanna look :)
And for den.....i saw some real life monsieur sange's! Spitting image, for a second i actually thought he'd followed me all the way here! They were sooo cute, you could have your photo with em...i was tempted but of course the price was ridiculous, so i declined!
Spent a couple of days there on Samui but really wasnt for me, was quite quiet too asd its the low season so not many people around to make friends with - but i did meet two girls who were lovely and i sat and chatted to them for aages, i also spoke to a guy called mark who was doin the same trip im doin but in reverse so we each had little tips for eachother which was nice. Anyway, i woke up on sunday and decided id had enough so got ticket for the boat back to Koh Tao to go and chill out for a few more days, then the plan is to do the mammoth journey all the way back to bangkok, then onto northern thailand and Chiang Mai....may stop off at Kanchanburi to see some tigers too. Feel the need to get off the beaten track now! On the way to the pier, i saw a 12m buddha at Big Buddha Beach, they like to name things mysteriously here(!) was pretty but not as impressive as the 45m one in Bangkok! Get me...im a big buddha snob now!
I shall update you where i decide to head to when i know, gonna go lie on the beach and think bout things! Also doin a bit of research into treks and elephant rehab centres where u can volunteer! Fun Fun!!
Thanks for all your messages :)
Big love to all of ya
