We have been back in Queenstown for almost a week now and I could not be happier! Delighted to have finally left the dump that is Christchurch. Its friday today and I'll be heading in for my last few hours of work this week in less than an hour. Its personally been a record breaking week for me. I'm after earning $650 in commission already and I could push that close to a $1000 if today goes aw well as I think it will. Been singing of all backpackers and they love the idea of the service as its way cheaper than any of the local shops. It's been really enjoyable doing the job this week as all the backpackers have been really cool bringing me into there house for beers and most importantly on this job food. Other big new on the job front is that Core has left the milkman team. He wasn't enjoying the job at all and finally decided to pack it in yesterday. He is back on the job hunt again now so good luck to him.
At the moment were staying in a guest house around ten minutes outside of town. Its run by a silly old Indian guy called Prasat but we call him Indy instead. He is always asking us really odd questions. For example he asked me yesterday if my dreads feel good.... weird!! But anyway there is the five us living here at the moment. We're looking for a house to rent but we've had no luck just yet.
Queenstown continues to be the party capital of New Zealand that we left a month ago. Been out almost every night since I arrived here and loving it! Theres a great range of bars and clubs so that each night remains fresh involving something different. In one of the bars you can enter a poole comp for free and if you win, you win a $100 bar tab. I almost won a while back but I lost to a girl in the final, pretty embarrassing I know!
There is so much snow here! Cannot wait for tomorrow as I'm gonna head to the Remarkables as the off piste up there is meant to be awesome. Theres been over a metre of snow fall during the last week so it should be pretty epic! This weekend is shaping up to be one of the best so. Skiing tomo and then its my 23rd birthday on sunday and for that I'm going sky diving first thing in the morning over Queenstown. I'll be jumping out of the plane at 15000 feet which means over 60 seconds of free fall. Then myself and my friends are all planning on going on a pub crawl on sunday evening. Righto thats all for now as I must run to work.
Peace and love all!
