My dear family, friends and fellow awesome Christians, first of all I just wanna tell you all how much I love you! Father God has blessed me with the best family and so many good friends and I appreciate all of you. Life continues to be good in New Zealand. My Christian journey has almost reached five months now and boy has it been a journey. It has been a bag of mountains and valleys where the valleys are ovbiously the lows which have been so bad at times a number of months ago that I was contemplating suicide. I dont mind saying this publicly as its part of my testimony of what Jesus has done in my life. I have come stumbled but he will never let me fall. He loves me with a never ending love, he died for me!! The mountains and valleys have started to stabilise now over the last month or two are not quite as extreme as they once were thankfully. Right now I am about as happy as I have ever been as God has revealed his plan to me and I could not be more excited.
I have been living with Paul in his farm house for the last 7 weeks. Paul is a young Christian and at the age of 21 he already an incredibly successful farmer. During my first few weeks living with him I helped him out on the farm. For the last month I have been working on the organic farm next door doing gorse cutting which is nothing short of incredbily tough work. Im cutting down gorse with a spinning disc and some of the gorse is up to 9 foot tall and it aint funny when it falls on you. I have been completly flattened a number of times. I also have around 50 splinters in my left hand that I am struggling to pull out. But on the upside Hamish the farm owner is a great person to work for and im getting paid 23 bucks cash in hand an hour. Therefore Im earning 1000 a week so im saving loads of money. Plus since I no longer drink, take any drugs and have free accomadation I have been able to save most the money as my only expense is food and tithing to the Church. Other than working for Paul I have done a number of other jobs over the last 5 months. I have painted a whole house back in february, milked plenty of cows in about 5 different sheds, done loads of fencing, a bit labouring and I was the cook at a ladies prophetic weekend three weeks ago.
I am due to head to Perth in around three weeks, either the end of may or first week of june. Gonna book my flights in the next few days. New Zealand has been awesome and my heart will always be with this country. God has told me that New Zealand will eventually be my home but dont know how he is gonna go about providing residency for me. I have told him that a kiwi wife would be quite appropriate. Gonna have to wait for him to move on that one. As a Christian I have been pretty radical in my transformation. I gave everything up so God can use me for all he has planned in my life. In my first month as a Christian I gave up weed, other drugs that I have sampled, alcohol, sex, pornography and a number of other things that are a bit more personal. But in giving all of these bad habits up God has blessed me abundantly. He has provided me with finances, he has provided me with a compassionate heart allowing me to love my family and all others far more than I have ever before. He has also blessed with the vision he has given me in the past few days which has now been confirmed.
Father God has called to creative evangelism. I am nothing short of super excited and I know I cant do anything without Jesus and I give all glory to him. My training in New Zealand has almost come to an end. I have been trained in evangelism, the prophetic, deliverance, teaching and preaching. I cannot wait to get out there to start spreading the Awesome News! The weekend just passed I visisted Masterton with my friends Eli and Paul. We cruised down on friday night and got back late sunday night. We surfed most of Saturday at Castlepoint beach and got some sweet waves. Then on sunday morning Eli brought me along to the Equippers Church. This was by far the best church I have seen in New Zealand. There was a lot of salvations and this is happening every week. That church is in the mist of revival and they have not realised it yet. I thank God for allowing me to witness it. While there I also built some great contacts. The head of the Equippers Church a pastor called Helen preached at the service. I got the chance to receive prayer from her after the service and she confirmed the vision I had during the worship. My friend Eli also confirmed my vision. I have learned in my Christian walk that when God talks to me that I must always look for confirmation.
The vision Jesus has given me is to head home, back to Cork. Its time to head home. I thought I was going to be in Perth for the next year but God spoke cleary to me instructing me to head back to Cork to plant a Church. This is not going to be easy though as I have only a few thousand dollars most of which will be used to pay my debts off. Therefore I have a big walk of faith ahead of me! But on the up side Helen confirmed my vision and told me that I could come under the spiritual covering of the Equippers Church of which there are three in London. I will stay in London for a few weeks on my way home to get fellowship from the pastors there. After that it will be back to Cork. God has blessed me with an ability to raise money and with my awesome fundraising training from Greenpeace I have no doubt that this Church will be a success. Plus when God tells you to move and to trust him you do!
That about all the update I have for you now my friends and family. All going well ill be back in cork by the end of june. Excitng times ahead! God is good, I love you Jesus, Hallelujah. I'll leave you all to meditate on this sripture. Where the spirit of the Lord is there is FREEDOM!
