Woke up late today as it had been a particularly late one last night. I threw on yesterdays tshirt and headed to one of the local 'stores' ie someones living room to get some drinks. I asked for 3 cokes and the old lady said with a big smile on her face "Coca?" this was ultimately the highlight of my day lol. We decided to delay going to see the temples and have a bit of a day off. Laura had spotted a massive shopping mall when we were in Siam Square the other night so we thought we'd go check it out. Before that we needed to go and arrange travel to Chiang Mai as we were going there in a few days. We headed to the train station to arrange a sleeper train. Just as we were about to enter the station we were approached by a member of staff Sunisa I think she was called. She Kindly talked us through our options and what would be the best deal not only to Chiang Mai but also for the return trip to bangkok and our subsequent journey to the south to koh phangnan for the full moon party. She took us to a travel centre and introduced us to an agent called Sam. Again he was really helpful and well informed and sorted out all of or travel. The only setback was that there were no trains available to Chiang Mai but he arranged an air conditioned bus instead.

Once all of our travel was sorted we set out for the mall 'Siam Paragon'. It was huge and had dedicated floors for each section (food, clothes, jewellery etc) we decided to get lunch then head to the IMAX on the top floor to catch a movie. After wandering the food court assessing our options we opted for a nandos-esque burger restaurant. Laura got a steak Dave got a bacon n cheese burger and I got a peppercorn sauce burger drinks were banana lassi for Laura and I and fresh watermelon juice for Dave.

We then made our way to the top floor to see what films were on. We opted for Hugo. As we had a bit of time to kill we returned to the food court floor for dessert. We stopped at a cake stand with a peculiar name 'It's happened to be a coffee shop' the cakes on display were all delicious so we took a seat an made our order. Dave and Laura had cheesecake and I got blueberry cheese pie mmmmmmm.

After the movie we headed back to the hostel did some laundry and had an early night.
