Hi All
So you may have noticed I have only just added on this Blog and I am back dating it for Christmas as I have not had the chance to get up to speed with the Blogs yet. You can expect a few installments over the next hour or so as I tell you all about my week travelling around the Philippines over Xmas. First stop Cebu.
For those of you who have kept up to date with my travels you will know that I have been to Cebu several times, and this was actually my 4th time! I started off as I meant to go on by attending a white party on the friday night, that was after having had my bag taken in error whilst I was getting changed in the toilet waiting for luggage! Not to worry, the airline managed to contact the person who had taken the incorrect bag and the situation was sorted out within 15 mins. I had a great night out, as I always do in Cebu, thanks to my good friends. I must say this was topped off with the Champagne that was enjoyed followed by a 5am stop at McDonalds on the way home where I enjoyed by first McDonalds Breakfast meal, always appreciated after a night out.
Christmas eve was spent relaxing on the beach with some friends before getting dressed up to go for some excellent chinese at the Shang. It was fantastic and the perfect end to a perfect Christmas eve. For anyone going to the Shang, please try the Tea of Spring and have the duck, it is awesome. Following this a quick drink to see in the NY and off to bed. I must say I did miss my traditional Xmas curry back in Kidderminster followed by drunken antics in The Swan, those from Kiddy will know exactly what I am talking about.
Christmas day was odd to say the least, and it really didn't feel like Christmas. It was made special by my adoptive Philippino family from Cebu who made me a delicious breakfast. The day was then spent on the beach again followed by a nice evening meal in Cebu at a Mexican restaurant. I am also happy to say that I had my Xmas Bailey's!
It was a lovely day, a strange day and one that I know I will never forget, but I am looking forward to being back in the UK next year with the German market and the ridiculously cold weather. haha!
Anyways an early start on the Monday to make my way to Puerto Pricesca in Palawan....
Over and out xx
