Why are we waiting? Why are we waiting? After nearly two days of travelling I'm starting to lose my patience! We started out yesterday morning with a tuk tuk ride to the jetty in Fort Cochin, caught a ferry (only Rs5 for both of us!) to Eranakulum, another tuk tuk to the railway station, a 12 hour train ride to Chennai and then finally another tuk tuk to the airport. We arrived at around midnight and our flight out to Port Blair was supposed to be at 09:30, but it's been delayed and there's no set departure time yet. So after spending the last 9 hours drinking copious amounts of coffee out of tiny paper cups and playing s***head until my brain said no more and only getting a couple of hours sleep leaning on our backpacks, I am getting just a tad grouchy. Plus it's dads birthday today and I have no way of contacting him, so am feeling a bit guilty. I should have sent that email from Cochin! Well dad, when you read this long after your birthday, at least you'll know I was thinking of you and I really hope you're having a better day than I am! The Andamans better be worth it dammit!
