I cant believe Chris left me on the sofa last night while he heated up a pie to eat! He said I didn't wake up so he got the bed down on top of me and climbed in leaving me underneath in the cold! b******! I remember waking up shivering! This morning was even worse, I had a splitting head ache and it felt like my bone marrow was frozen! We had no heating as we were on the side of the road so getting up was horrible. I tried to eat some breakfast but I was sick all morning, I couldn't eat or drink anything. Chris on the other hand felt fine! Probably because he had a nice tasty pie to help soak up some of that alcohol! He was still set on swimming with the dolphins so dragged me down to the office. He wasn't letting me get out of it so I put three layers of clothes on and said I wouldn't do it unless I got to wear a dry suit. Chris was excited, we got there and spoke to a member of staff. Suddenly I had a huge grin on my face. The lady tells us the weather conditions are not right out at sea, it's too choppy so we can't go today. Chris asks if we can go tomorrow but she tells him they're fully booked. I was pleased but I felt sorry for Chris who was really gutted, he sulked for the rest of the morning.
When we got back in the van Chris wanted to start driving down south straight away but I wanted to get back into bed, he got his way and we ended up driving. I threw up in a plastic bag every fifteen minutes until I eventually fell asleep. When I woke we were in Christchurch again, Chris said he had to go that way to go south. It was a good job we did really because the bed had broken, for some reason it wouldn't move up and down properly and it made a really loud buzzing noise. It looked like a bolt had come loose so we needed to get it fixed at the Apollo branch. It was a bit annoying really having to waste our time going back but they got it fixed in no time.
We decided not to drive south tonight, instead we went back to the Top Ten Holiday park. Chris made a really nice cheesy pasta bake for dinner, by then I had my appetite back, it was so yummy! It was nice having the heating back on, we spent the evening watching films while curled up in bed.
