Rome has been wonderful. We leave here tomorrow and head on our 5 day tour to Florence, Venice, Lake Como and Milan.

The football game the other night was a spectacle - Roma v Ciseano (or something like that). At Stadium Olympico. Lots of noise but at least we were in the quiet section.

Coming home from that I lost the apartment keys and we are not yet aware what that will cost us. Only me!!!!!!!

Donna left today and we did our Vatican tour. We knew il papa was at Castel Gandolpho (the summer papal palace) so were weren,t invited in for a latte and some biscotti.

The apartment in Rome has been great. Handy to everything. We have been walking most places but sometimes a taxi is the only way.

Krista has excelled in getting people to understand her. I,m still excelling in the art of international sign language.

We posted some stuff home to our loved ones today. So Liam no opening til I get back. If you believe the patient Post office guy it will take 3 years to get there anyway.

Must go we are at the laundromat and some poor man is currently washing my smalls so I must go and save him.

Off to do battle with Fabio at the hotel. Wish us luck.
