I HAVE AN EXCUSE.
I realize the time length of my departure but many of things were happening.
Good news or bad news first?
Bad - I broke the fifth bone in my left foot and was in a cast for 9 days along with needles for 10. Because of my constant clumsyness and a graceful landing after jumping off a balance beam in gym class I was on crutches with difficulties for moving around.
Good - Its better (in a walkable cast with minor uncomforts), and it never slowed me down. I still went to the Day without Cars in Brussels via wheelchair and a sleep over with my good Canadian friend Jane. Though travel and school was tiring it was worth the wait and now I am back on my feet again (pun!)
