When you see a finished puzzle, it's a beautiful picture that makes sense to the audiance and it's good. But when looking at individual pieces it gets a little more distorted, and each piece is so much more original then its pair.
That is us. Today I met with all the other Rotary exchange students in Belgium to take Brussels by storm, visiting the Place-Royale and the Parliment. Along with a delicious dinner with my Maritime company.
We all came from different backgrouds, have different interents, different pasts and will have different futures but at that moment, no matter what language we spoke or what our parents did we were experiencing the exact same thing. But together. We are so different but because of this exchange we are exactly the same.
And thats what Rotary does not only here but accross the worlds, it puts us in equally new experiences with the support of a club, a family and friends but it puts us through the year alone with other students who know how you feel. It builds relationships, views and it builds ourselve.
It takes each indiviual piece of the puzzle and brings it together for a beautiful picture.
I can't wait to get to know these people because today was amazing and I have faith tomorrow will be too.
