Drove into Carnarvon this morning after a fuel stop Wooromal where they give Seniors discount even if you don't have a Seniors Card.
Mechanic at Tyre Power in Carnarvon agreed to "realign" our airbags (requires a bit of drilling etc) so we decided to stay on until Monday when he can do the work. Because he needs the car up on a hoist we have unloaded the slideon in the Coral Sea Caravan Park.
Quite nice to have one or 2 days to potter around and get a few maintenance jobs done. In the mean time the Hannans have headed on to a beach just short of Coral Bay (Warroora) . Sounds like a great spot and we hope to be there Monday arvo or Tuesday morning.
Tried to get the footy on the tv but no luck so given it was the Showdown we walk into town to find a pub with Fox. No luck at the first pub so finished up at the Carnarvon Hotel a kilometre or two from us. Unfortunately they had Foxtel so we had to endure a crushing defeat.
Stopped off at Woolworths to pick up a couple of Steaks on the way home that came up well on the parks BBQ.
