Today was great except for the rain that made me get chills toy bones. I had to force Bonnie to hibernate a bit with me while I warmed up at home with some noodle soup and chocolate croissant for lunch. Then a little nap once again as we waited for the rain to lighten up. By 8:30 we either pulled ourselves out of our cocoon or end the day. We rallied and headed down to the 'downtown' area close to where Bonnie raced. Had some munches at this pub called Nora Madigans and then headed with the heard to watch the final fireworks that marked the end of culture night here in the city. Thanks for a very accommodating Bonnie, we headed back a little more wet than I wanted, to our little apartment in the city. Tonight is our last night here in Arnar's place. We have thoroughly enjoyed this talented artist's apartment. And even though we have never met him, his home had been extremely welcoming for our first days in Reykjavik! I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to come here. You can rent his place through airbnb.com! Until tomorrow when our adventure continues as we move into a guesthouse for one more night before we head east on our adventure drive on Monday! Ciao!
