The rest of this day was spent reaching our destination just as the rain started. The hotel we are being put up at is really nice, started feeling like we have left behind some of the farmland travelling. I even said to Bonnie as we were driving in from the mountain at the site of city's harbour...civilization! As we drove up we could see there had been some form of festival the day before as they were deconstructing the stage that had broken down just that morning. It was actually blocking our way to our hotel! Don't you just love city construction! No worries, we found a parking spot next to the hotel, and went and checked in. Because the hotel was not that busy they decided to upgrade is to a superior room! Bonus!!! It was nice, but the size was that of a regular hotel room...haha! They gave us a balcony however with a view of the bay so at least Bonnie has a place to smoke;). We decided to go about for a wonder, it had been told to us that there was a discount wool shop, but it's not open until tomorrow. So we r going to find it and check out its location. It will be the first thing we head to before we head out on the longest road drive to the western fjords! Yes we are going fjording tomorrow Serge! This time on the west coast! After a short walk about town where most stores were closed, except the souvenirs shops of course, we found this lovely little cafe where we thought...a nice warm latte with baileys and some apple cake! Delicious! That's where you see Bonnie pictures here. We caught up on our correspondence as there was some wifi! Bonnie wanted to continue on through the rain to discover the town, and as much as I appreciated being in a city, I was exhausted so I opted for the shower and nap back at the hotel before dinner. So Bonnie went exploring, and I was able to take the best longest shower I've had in a while, was even able to dry my hair properly that it finally started taking the shape it was meant to, instead of medusa's snake head! As I rested, Bonnie came back and did the same! By the time we were done and ready to go..we were ready for bed! We'd had cake for dinner so we were fine. So an early night it was, log day tomorrow, so there may not be too much of an update, but I'm sure I'll write about it!
