Saturday pm
Today was the best sailing I've done since I arrived. The wind has changed to come from the Northwest and is about 15 knots. The waves were small and no spray.
We did some tacking and jibing practice and practiced different points of sail.
After a few hours, we went back to Las Galletas and put away the boat and were free for the night.
I heated up a Calzone and made a salad for dinner. Then I went down to my favorite WiFi cafe at the end of the pier and had a beer and checked my email.
After returning to the boat, I helped Dennis, the Irishman program the waypoints onto the GPS. (Since he is 65, I am not the oldest guy on board!) Always nice.
The passage plan for tomorrow is to leave Las Galletas about 12:30 after we practice some boat handling. We'll head for San Sebastion which is about a 5 hour trip.
