4 Mar 2011 - Las Galletas, Tenerife - Moving Day!
Las Galletas, Spain
Today was very relaxing and chilly. I'm wearing shorts but I've got a long sleeve shirt and a heavy sweat shirt on over that.
I went into town and found a bakery with outside seating. Well, everyplace has outdoor seating! They have something called cafe Americano but they simple don't know how to make American coffee. Think expresso in a slightly larger cup and that's what passes for American coffee. But the baked goods are great.
Then I came back to the boat and packed up all my gear. We had to be off by 10am so the staff could clean and repair.
So I went to the end of the pier and checked email and worked on my blog. I had a Calimari tapa for lunch with a small beer and bread. Very good.
Then I went into town again and found a hardware store and bought a couple of adapters to charge my iPod and camera batteries. Then I came back to the boat and I was able to move onto my new boat named Agi. It's 2 feet longer (42') then Brego.
Tonight we have our pre-sail cocktail hour and I have to pick up my laundry which I need to do right now.
So hasta luego for now.
