I must have been tired because I woke up at 9.30 am which is not like me at all! We packed everything up as we were moving on today to Munduk. We headed out for breakfast and found a nice little outdoor cafe on the beach. I'm sticking to the continental option of breakfast out here as don't feel quite ready for a rice breakfast just yet! I found an ATM and got out 1,250,000 rupiah, it's weird having such high amounts in currency, that only works out to be about £65. We headed back to the hostel and waited for a fixed price taxi to come pick us up. It took us 3 hours to get to Munduk from Sanur. There's no big main roads here, all small windy town roads. There are mopeds everywhere and they're absolute nutters! Most don't even wear helmets! They offer to take you places in the towns for small amounts of money...no ta! Munduk is very high up in relation to sea level, so we saw amazing views on the way and lots of wild monkeys on the side of the road. We were staying at a hotel in the middle of nowhere called Manah Liang Bungalow. It was incredible, I've never seen anything like it! The rooms are like little wooden two story huts! We had two balconies with amazing views of the mountains! There was even an outside shower! To stay there was only £10 a night. After getting over the room, we got dressed up and headed to the hotel restaurant which again had cracking views. I had chicken satay and then the most incredible desert of coconut pancakes...in heaven! I really thought I wasn't going to like the food here but it's really good! The fresher the better! They also did amazing fruit juice, I tried the local pineapple. Now it sounds weird but it actually tastes like the fruit of a pineapple, no added sugar or anything! I feel like you had to be there but I was just blown away! The bill was ridiculously cheap, I can't get over the prices here. After, we made our way back to the room and attempted to watch a film called 'Divergence' on Sarah's iPad. I watch the first 5 minutes before turning over and drifting off. I woke up to find me still in bed with Sarah, considering we had the luxury of 4 beds between the three of us, I trotted upstairs and enjoyed a room to myself, although I regretted it when I thought of how many bugs would be in there with me.
