Douglas Brown's Travels
Day 4
Down to breakfast at 7:30pm. The Japanese had been replaced by English football supporters.
While eating breakfast 4 Australians sat at the table next to me and we struck up a conversation which lasted for an hour and a half.i then returned to my room to watch the MotGP telecast from Catalunya.
The Maraton Frranja is to be held in Slovinia today, starting and ending in Ljubljana. Consequently many main roads around the city are closed today.

4 hours later and the MotoGP has finished and now enjoying a beer with two Queenslanders and deciding where to go for dinner. It has been a lazy but restful day. We were then joined by the other 8 Ausies from there tour group. So we stayed in the bar chatting for a further two hours.
By Then The football match started on the TV and a group of five England supporters took up seats in front of the big screen. When we ask them why they were not at the game, they replied that the beer was cheaper here.
The game got very exiting when Slovinia kicked a goal half way through the first half. England kicked 2 goals in the second half an when they entered injury time the England supporters thought the game was all over and the bought a case of beer to return to their rooms to celebrate. However, in the last few minutes of the game Slovinia quelled.
We all walked 200 meters down the road for pasta and pizza and Martina the co owner of Adriatic Tours joined us for a meal. At about 10:30pm we staggered home under the weight of pizza and pasta.
