Douglas Brown's Travels
I was up early this morning for breakfast, as Bill, Joan, Terry and Danyang were setting of on their Alps adventure at 8:15am. We had breakfast together and discussed how we would keep in contact during or respective tours. I had purchased a Slojvinian SIM card for my phone and would be purchasing a pre paid SIM in each country I visited. So it was decided that email and Google+ would be the best way to keep in touch. It was raining consistently as the group set off on their "Adriatic Alps Adventure". One of the women riders from Queensland look particularly nervous and uncomfortable on her BMW F650S. I hope the rain eases for our departure tomorrow. I returned to my room to prepare my riding gear. My Sena Blue tooth unit needed charging, the zip on my over boots needed repair and my visor needed cleaning and spraying with silicon polish. Our pre ride briefing was held at 2pm after which we were taxied to collect our bikes. Mine was a nice red BMW 1200GS. After riding in the rain back to our hotel, the tour company took us for a meet and greet dinner at the castle resturant. The ride starts tomorrow at 8am.
