With infrequent rain, the weather in New York has been a little on the cool side. We have been trying to ride the Staten Island ferry around the Statue of Liberty since we have been here, but the river / bay is cold, windy and choppy, so we have been putting it off each day. With the alarm set for 4.30am… It was going to be an early start to the day. One taxi, 2 aeroplanes, 1 shuttle bus, 3 trains and a van later, we arrived at our next home in Brooklyn around 5.00pm… Shattered, we were in bed by about 8.30pm, with plans to start looking around in the morning.
