Another bus day as we leave France and head to Italy, on our way to Renaissance Florence. As we make our way we get to stop in and see the famous leaning tower of Pisa, we leave the cool conditions of the bus & venture into the sweltering heat. It is a Saturday and quite busy with tourist, all trying to get "that" photo of picking up the tower. The tower itself is quite small, and defiantly has a distinct tilt, which apparently was already leaning in the early building stages (after only the 3rd story was added) but they decided to push on & even add two huge bells - strange. They have attempted many different ways of correcting or prolonging the life of the tower, it will be interesting to see how it stands.

We arrive into Florence and head to our hotel rooms for a quick change before we head out to dinner, a Tuscan feast. In true Italian fashion we are welcomed with plenty of food & wine, starting off with antipasto, then onto pasta, a meat dish (main course), finishing with dessert & champagne. Tonight we are off to experience the Florentine nightlife, at the citys largest club, the space disco is filled with both locals and travellers, we dance the night away, drinking plenty of water as it is like a sauna!
