WOW. I actually can't believe I have been here 2 months already, time certainly does fly by, I have had the most amazing last 2 months, feels like im living in a dream and I have 10 more months to look forward too. So today I moved to my second host family, moved a but earlier than I expected, My last host family were so lovely and I really enjoyed my time with them, they provided me with a lot and were very nice, the kids were super adorable too, I will miss them very much, But I have new adventures to look forward to with my new family. Im already worried about how im going to bring everything home, just to move a few streets down after just 2 months, I managed to have my big suitcase full with no clothes in it and most likely alot overweight, I had about 4 extra bags to bring everything over in. aah not looking good.

So the last 2 months were not as busy as the first but I have still done alot.
The last monthI have been shopping quite a bit with my host mum which has been fun, the shops here a massive and takes over an hour to look at just one!
One weekend I went out with the president of the rotary club, she was super lovely, she took me to an internation teahouse, where for the first time I had tea, it was strawberry and lemon and I quite enjoyed it, we then went for a walk down one od the main shopping streets in boulder stopping off at various candy, chocolate and cupcake stores, was lots of fun!
that afternoon I played with the kids in my host family outside, finally it was a beautiful sunny day, the girls have the cutest barbie car and its actually motorised, it was so cool, I wished it was bigger so I could have a go.
The next day was my host brothers second birthday party, he had his party at a little gym and it was monkey themed, he had cute personalised plates, napkins, even baloons, and the cake was amazing, decorated by my host mums friend, it was a two story cake, and had monkeys and trees on it, tasted good too :)
Not long after that was my host mums birthday, she loves spicy food, so I went to my first mexican resturant, it was quite fun, very colourful.
Over the weekend I met my counsellor, we went to a place where we painted bowls for the homeless, it was suprisingly lots of fun and then I had dinner at her house too.
The next weekend I spent my first weekend really just relaxing at home, watched the movies, played with the kids, caught up on some sleep, it was actually nice not to do something for once.
On the friday night though I went to my schools Mr Cougar which was lots of fun, It was a group thing the boys at school did and it was a competition, they made funny videos and did acts on stage, it was lots of fun.
The weekend after I was lucky enough to go skiing with my counsellors family, I was very proud of myself only my 3rd time skiing and even went on some of the intermediate slopes, I took a friend from school with me, and she was very experienced so was good to have her with me, she helped me a bit and showed me some different techniques, was a very fun day out. got caught in a traffic jam on the way home though, sat in the car not moving for over an hour, but time went by fast and it was a bit of an adventure.
That night my host family hosted an oscars party for the neighbourhood, it was very cool to watch, I liked to see what all the celebs were wearing but it was also nice to meet the neighbours.
The weekend after that I went shopping again, I also was lucky enough to get an audition for a modelling/acting talent agency and had the audition on the saturday afternoon, it was fun to go to, see what it was like and how an audition works, was a quick process, went into a small room, walked a runway and then read a script, and I got a call back which is super exciting.
School has been going well, I stopped my animation class and swaped it for aiding for drama, so helping the teacher out in class really, there are really nice people in the class too, so i really enjoy, this is my first time actually taking drama, so am suprised at how much im enjoying it, I also auditioned for the advanced drama class, which I found out just the other day I got into which is really exciting. Im becoming a drama queen :) Prom is also coming up on April 16th which im really excited for, went prom dress shopping last weekend with my neighbour, which was lots of fun trying on all the dresses although i didnt quite find one i loved, so still looking, have had late starts all last weekend and this week which is awesome to sleep in and next week is spring break, yay. I have plans with my new host family to go skiing saturday which should be fun.
oh also St patricks day was last thursday and America maks a big deal out of every holiday, everyone wore green, I even had st patricks day sockd and hairband, and my hsot family made an all green dinner, green eggs and ham just like 'sam I am' and for dessert green jello in the shape of a shamrock with cool wip and green sprinkes was super cute. So thats an update on pretty much everything that has happend in the last month, and I have a lot more adventures to look forward to, In the summer I have a rotary tour im going on which goes all over the U.S, spring break next week, prom, and im looking forward to school next semester im taking the best subjects, drama 2, advanced drama, digital photography, film photography, Jewellery along with afew others but should be a fun semester. I hope I havent forgotten anything. Here I go the first night at my new host family!
