so lets see, where to start. last weekend I had an orientation in Denver for rotary we didnt really do anything to exciting, lots of talking, but was good to catch up with all the other exchnage students, I had fun, the on the sunday me and my host family headed off to the Denver zoo which was good with the kids. school has been going well, I brought lunch for the first time the other day, Pizza it was good, so funny lining up and getting your tray its just like the movies :) Valentines day was monday I had a really good day, turned up to school there were people dressed in pink, red and white, giant teddys bears, and students with strawberries dipped in chocolate, cupcakes and valentines cookies giving them out to friends, classes and the teachers. presents, baloons and flowers everywhere, then for the last class of the day i recieved a flower and the school choir group sung 'just the way you are' by bruno mars to me, was super cute. At home me and my host family had a delicious meal on heart shaped hearts and had some pink lemonade with it, for dessert lots of valentines candy and hot chocolate. super cute! on wednesday I went to a school basketball it was the seniors last game and we won, was cool to see the cheerleaders and dance team preform too, I felt like I was in a movie. today (friday) is my host brothers birthday, he is now 2! just got back from a lovely dinner. and yay finally the weekend I'm looking forward to a much needed sleep in, this weekend im hoping to do some shopping, then sunday is my host brothers birthday party and am meant to be off bowling with some girls from school. monday is presidents day so 3 day weekend. Im looking forward to it :)
