so a month gone by, defently hard to believe, it still feels all so new, as if i've only been here a week. its crazy!

On friday it was my host brothers 2nd birthday, I came home from school and asked how old he was he held up all his fingers and said three, so adorable, he seemed to like the NZ kapai book I gave him and ofcourse the chocolate, that night my host family and I went to applebees for dinner which was very nice.

Saturday I went for lunch with the president of my rotary club, we went to an international Tea house in Boulder, I had never had tea before but figured I was at a teahouse so it would be the place to try it, I actually quite liked it though the 4 sugars i added might have helped. after lunch we set off for a walk down Pearl street which is a shopping street, stopping off at various, candy, cupcake and clothing stores, the weather was good and I had a nice time with her, she is very lovely, after at home I payed outside with the girls, for christmas they got a pink barbie car that is motorised and they can both fit in, I was so jelous, I wanted a turn myself. haha but super cute.

Sunday was Zachs birthday party, it was at a little gym, where the kids could go on the beam, hang on bars and do rolly pollys that type of thing, once again I felt like a kid again although i wished everything was slightly bigger so I could have a go, but was very cute and all the kids seemed to be enjoying it. Zachs Birthday cake was amazing, a two tier cake with monkeys and trees over it and it tastes delecious too. chocolate my favourite.

Monday was presidents day, so yay another day of school, My host family and I set off for the flatirons mall, it was huge, I swear atleast 5 times the size of my local mall in NZ. I didnt know where to start, I had a really good day shopping and exploring although i didnt come out with too many purchases.

I'd say another good weekend!
