Love seeing the pictures and your smiling face! I wish it was easier for you to access the web and download more.

It's so cold here, our snow blower would not start yesterday. So I shoveled the whole damn driveway, and today it was like our bowling incident, could not figure out why my right shoulder was soar. We have more snow than you could imagine, and to think last year we couldn't even get in a single ski outing!

Politics is the only other noteworthy news here, but I think Mom filled you in with the details, and I know Host-Mom Mary keeps you informed with Obama updates. You can probably let her know, unless there is a major falling out, it will be Obama vs McCain in the fall. If her tribe can't get elected there, they may have a good chance in the U.S., so maybe that will help curb the violence.

I sent your tuition payment yesterday, so don't worry, there's no chance of deportation. I do hope you get a chance to venture out on a safari soon. But it's good that Titty man is keeping you safe. I'd rather they be overly cautious.

Wish we could here from you more often, but it's great when we do, I always get a sense you're having a good time and making the most of your experience there.

Those elephants are cute, i bet that was fun!!! lucky (napolean). so whos sweet corn is better, kenya or u.s? i say if they keep postponing the peace talks just go on the safari!! well the referendum passed finally all that is over and i get to stop hearing about it. obama won wisconsin, so tell all the kenyans hes in the lead...i think. and of course mccain won. i felt pretty awesome voting for the first time ha. zoey pooped in my room this morning!! i thought she only did that in your room!! but i guess your used to poop now that your always being threatened by it anyway. o and it snowed again and its been like -25 windchill for the past 2 days! pretty lame. thats all!!! love you..megan

Hey, have you been worried about us? We're all well here. Chris, like the boys on your streets, has a little poop issue too. One of these days it will end up in the toilet where it belongs. Alex is still just a sweetie and crawling all around now. It sounds like you are doing very well and enjoying the adventures around every corner. I'm glad to hear you've been safe and hopefully will continue to be. Please don't feel like you have to bring home one of those little babies for me. I have enough on my hands! This works for Dirt Harry, I'm not sure it will work for you. What's the worst that could happen, get splattered in the face with poop. I think he would do better if he were to just ask all you mzungas nicely for some food.

Just wanted to fill you in on the romantic Valentine's Night ( a day later) that Uncle Dave has planned for me. I feel WAY spoiled, but you be the judge...He's taking me to the Hy-Vee Deli tonight (similar to your Festival Foods) for some Chinese food and then off to Menard's to get mirrors for our house. Is he way oo-la-la or what!?!? I guess it's better than minnows for supper. :-) Glad to hear you celebrated Valentine's Day in Africa as well. I hope cupid's arrow hits you and not the local boys' poop! -- I just received my new Taste of Home magazine in the mail today. They have a recipe in there for African Beef Curry. It's from a lady who lived in Nigeria for 45 years. I decided I'm going to make it for "the family" next week so we can taste a little of your culture. :-) -- I'll let you know the reviews! "Happy Valentine's Day....To'Thumbody' Special!" Oh Bre Bre...I hope you are celebrating and eating lots of delicious treats...not just minnows covered in chocolate! I had V-day at preschool and made each of the kids a card with the saying I began this message with. Timmy and I just went out for some Mexican for dinner. It was alright, but next time we're going to try a new Mexican place. It's hard when nothing compares to our MEZCAL! Other good news...today I found out that I got the Autism Summer Camp job! It starts July 1st-ish and goes until August 23....So since it starts so late, that just leaves me more time to hang out with you before I depart for Colorado!!! Well that is it for now Bre Bre.
