BreAnne!! Whoa, I had to catch up on your last two blogs. (I know, slipping behind, right?) Anyways, I find them so interesting...even minnow eating, I don't know if I could do that! But jeeze, Kenya looks awesome! I'm going to check your facebook photos out yet too since you mentioned there may be more on there. You do need a picture of the Mary lady. I need to know what kind of crazy woman would find it hilarious to describe eating horrible things. Anyways, back here things are going alright. I've had a horrible sore throat/stuffy nose all weekend... I think I may have lost a gallon of liquid in snot. Sick. But hey, you should let me know how people, like your madre, can text you? Did you get a phone over there or did you bring yours? I'm confused. Miss you lady, glad to hear you are doing well!
Joann
Hi Breanne-
I talked to your Aunt Nancy and she told me about your trip to Africa. I am sharing your experiences with my middle school students (5th-8th). They are finding your adventures interesting, they thought eating minnow was pretty gross. GROANS were heard throughout each class. We are looking forward to reading more- thanks for sharing your life.
Sandra
Breanne, I think when you get back home, you could probably sign up for Survivor and win yourself a million dollars. If you can eat minnows!! Sounds like you are having an experience of a lifetime. I so enjoy reading your blog. Stay safe. Sandra
Grandpa & Grandma K.
Hi Breanne.....we are really enjoying your "off exploring" journaling and the photos. It makes us feel like real "softies" when we hear about your experiences. The photos of the kids are also very humbling....they look so happy & yet have so little. I hope you don't develop a real taste for the Kenya "snacks". Maybe you better limit yourself to the "daga".
We plan to go to Omaha tomorrow (Sat.). Kim, Craig & the boys are going to a new waterpark there at the Holiday Inn. Glenn & Trent plan to go too. We will probably meet up with them sometime. Amy went to Kansas City with some girlfriends & will get back on Sunday.
Take care...........love........Grandpa & Grandma K.

LOVE the photos! We printed a few off and have them on the refrigerator. I told our middle school social studies teacher about your adventures. She was thrilled to hear you are in Africa because she is studying that region right now with her 8th graders. I gave her your blog address and she is going to read your entries to the class this quarter. What a celebrity!!! -- Hope the rain has ended and you are able to enjoy a "hakuna matata" day! Hugs and Kisses!! The Daus
Grandpa And Grandmother
Hi Little Explorer, What anice surprise to come home to. I subbed all day and had a little gal from Ethiopia in 1st grade. Friends of your Mom adopted 2 little girls abot 2 years ago from there. She is alittle spit fire!!! Was in the office for pushing a boy in the water at recess. But, I don't think she really cared :) The pics are great and you look wonderful. Kenya must be agreeing with you. So glad to see you again. Gramps is still at work, of course! All our love and prayers, Grandpa and Grandmother

I am so glad to see the pictures Breanne!! They are so great to see. I told your mom that I thought you looked so natural there. The smile on your face tells us all a lot!! What an experience with the giraffes. We are enjoying your daily updates and look forward to more pictures soon. I'm sure it takes quite a while to get them loaded, but definitely well worth it for us to see them! Take Care and we think of you often!
Breanne
Thanks for all of your messages!! It's great to hear from everybody! I am currently trying to upload some pictures but is proving to be a VERY difficult task. It won't be much, if any, but I'll try. Still having a great time. It rained today, so it was a very muddy walk home. I will also do my best to fulfill all of your Kenyan baby requests. Jenna gets one first though since she asked before I even left. Miss you all!
Your Real Mom
Hey! Haven't heard from you for a couple days. I did get your text, so I guess I can't text you but you can text me? Dad is in Wausau today for meetings. We have Chris and Alex after school today, so that will be fun. It was Ash Wednesday yesterday, so the girls and I went to get our ashes and soup! That's about it here. Hope all is well with you. We will call this weekend, just let us know when a good time is. Love & miss you like crazy..............madre
