Oh Bre...I'm finally back from Cancun. It was so fun to read all your blogs and get caught up on what you're doing. I watched ALOT about Kenya on CNN while I was in Cancun--glad to hear you feel safe. Sounds like Mama Mary is fun but the food sounds a little iffy--good thing it's fried that can cover most bad tastes!! I, too, would like one of those little babies--boy or girl:-). How sad, I'm sure it's hard to walk by them and not help. The kids will love to read your blogs--so interesting. Be safe. We love you and miss you tons. Aunt Mary

Hey there kiddo. It sounds like you're having a great experience. It's so interesting and exciting to here from you each day. Even the type of food you're eating makes me curious. I hope the fish had the guts removed before frying? I know you're extremely tempted to acknowledge and talk to the homeless, but you also can't let yourself be taken advantage of. It's quite innovative and funny that poop could be used as a threat! Nothing much new here. It's Super Tuesday for the primary election. You can let Obama's cousins know he's hanging in there against Clinton. (Close race) Thanks for giving us something to look forward to each morning with your blog update! Love you, DAD

Whoa Bre Bre!! I love your bloggering skills! I have been throughly reading daily and I always get laugh out of some of your unfortunate enconterings (poo, poo, puke). However, now that you tell me there are babes just lying around on the street, I'd like for you to send me one. Preferably a boy, but I won't be choosy. Anyways, I miss you like crazy and am so glad to know you are safe and secure. Will you be able to put pics up soon or is the internet just too slow?
Your Cuz Emma
Hey bre,
Sounds like fun in africa. I am glad you didn't get hit by the boy with poo or you would have to take a shower under the pee feeeling shower! It sounds like the "mom" mary is pretty nice. I asked for prayers for you at church the other day. But I know you are fine. have you learned any new African words? Does Mary have any kids? I really like your blog so I know whats going on. I was so interested in your story this morning I almost missed the bus! Oh well. I miss you very much
love ya

Hey Bre!!! I'm glad your tummy problems cleared up and that you didn't get covered in poo. I also really enjoyed your analogy of the shower being similar to someone peeing on your head! haha Hope all is well, be safe.
Aunt N
Ewwwww! Hope you aren't "assaulted" by the mad poop slinger anymore! Glad to hear your tum-tum is on the mend. Stuff one of those babies in a suitcase and send it to your auntie. That breaks my heart! Love you! Aunt Nannny
Madre
Brizanne Always good to hear the news of the day in Kenya. Did you get my text last night or I guess this morning? Makes me so sad to hear about the moms and the babies. How sad. That would be so hard to see. Miss you like crazy! The fish sounds great! Love you so much!
Grandpa And Grandmother
ooooh Honey, I hope you are feeling better and will have transportation to and from school. I don't think you will have to worry about your weight with all that walking and sweating!!! Maybe the snow is OK for me. I don't like hot weather you know . I'm happy to hear that your Mom Mary is cautious, otherwise you need to be the wise one. No, No, No, more over the tracks trips (do you understand)!!! Wish we could be there to drive you around :) and give you hugs and kisses. We miss you.
We send our love and prayers, Grandpa and Grandmother

I love hearing (by hearing I mean reading but I imagine it's you reading it to me) what's going on! I promised updates from this end but I don't really have much to say because I just got back from being home (babysitting for Adam and Meg while my parents were out of town)...BUT
The part about your digestive problems spurred some VERY interesting conversation...and now Jeannie and Megan are looking up pictures of poop.
YEP things are going great here but we MISS MISS MISS YOU!
P.S. Any news from the towel/US Postal Service?
Meggie Moo
i see a bit of mother rivalry between mamma k and your host mom.
also, i appreciate the peeing on your head touch to the blog today.
miss you bee
Dad
Beezy, I miss not being able to just give you a call, but at 35 cents a minute, I guess I will need to get in the habit of sending a message. But you've seen my keyboard skills, so you know this will take me some extra time. I wonder if the extra grease you've been consuming helped ease the pain of the vomit on it's way back out of your system yesterday. I hope you're fully recovered and feeling better today. There's sickness everywhere around here as we continue our long winter hibernation during the damp, dark, dreary days of winter.....that statement alone should make you feel better about your situation! It's actually snowing quite a bit today, so more shoveling tonight!! Oh how I wish I was there with you! You make it sound like a camping adventure with the shower situation and 45 minute hikes. We had a great time at the game yesterday, sorry about your gophers, but they are used to losing, and no better team to lose to than the Badgers! And can you believe the Patriots lost?? The only better ending to the season would have been if the Packers were the ones to beat them! ...............See ya Beez.......Love DAD
Mom
2nd try! Opps don't know what I hit! Bummer about the digestive stuff. Tell Mom Mary, Big Momma says no more grease! Hopefully you are taking those culture pills from Walgreens and that you tum, tum is settling. Yikes. Glad you got to a computer today. I would make you toast with secret recipe! Love you!
