Can't wait to see you all! Thanks for all the messages from home. I will try to post some more pictures from the end of my trip later when I get back to the states. I haven't been able to find internet lately that is fast enough to download them. I have less than 10 hours left in Africa....crazy!

Thanks for all the blogs- my middles school students loved reading each blog. The pictures were great and the video was awesome!! The 8th graders loved reading about Kenya while we were studying the continent of Africa. If you come to Iowa to see Aunt Nancy, I'd love to meet you and hear more about your adventure.
Again thank you for making Afica a real place for students that have been no further than the border of Iowa.

Your trip sounded AWESOME! See you on Friday!!!! Crazy, only 4 days!

Hi Kiddo, Sorry we didn't get to talk longer this morning. I hope you had a nice time visiting Mary's home village this weekend. You can let Mary know Obama is close to securing the democratic nomination, but Hillary is being a soar loser and won't concede...so there's lots of bickering between the two sides. Also let her know we'd love to host her stay here if she ever visits America, although she'd probably have a hard time with the weather..............still too cold! We are all really looking forward to your return Friday. I'm sure it will be a difficult adjustment for you, so I took the weekend off so we could thoroughly Krogmanize you back to reality. So be prepared to be scared straight! Love you.................DAD

Was your trip to the coast this past weekend or is it this coming weekend? Either way, I hope you had or will have a fantastic time! OK, how were you able to stand no shower for 6 weeks? You must be awful good at those bucket baths. I'm sure a "true" shower is going to feel like heaven when you return to the States. Hope all is going well with your paper writing. It will be good to have that behind you.
Life has been a bit crazy at the Dau house. Good thing summer is on its way or this aunt might go a bit "loco"...as if I'm not already. It always seems April and May are the most hectic. Everything gets packed on to the end of the school year. It will be nice to spend time together at Meg's graduation. OUr last day with school kids is May 23rd, so I think I'll come to Wis. early to catch up with you girlies and help Mama Sue with grad. prep.
Can't wait to see you then!! MISS YOU!!
Love always !

I knew this whole "study abroad" thing was just some lame excuse for a vacation in Africa. No studying for finals? i bet you didnt even have any, because, you know, you need to take classes to have a final...
Enjoy your last few weeks and have a few tuskers for me. We actually have finals to study for over here across the pond and . . well we will have to wait and see about that postcard you sent =P
keep rockin the blog.

Gosh Breanne...I feel like it was just yesterday that I came over to say goodbye to you and give my well wishes. WOW how time flies. I love the pictures and how professional you look. The knowledge you have gained, both profesionally and personally, is probably so huge that I can't even imagine the emotions you're experiencing right now! To leave those that you have really grown to know as your "family" will be tough but to be HOME again...what memories you will have to share with all your family and friends here!! I am sure your mom is so thrilled to see that day come closer and closer!
Enjoy your vacation on the beach and hopefully I will see you when you return to the U.S. ! Take Care!

Obama '08! Si se puede! Yes we can! How exciting to touch the international landscape with such a simple message. Danielle arrived in Chicago on Monday and she's glad to be home, yet misses her new friends already. No doubt your last few weeks will be wonderful, yet bittersweet as well. Cherish these memorable events for a lifetime! Best wishes, D. Berry
Mama Susy
Hey! Glad to hear Mama Mary liked her bumper sticker. I almost forgot I had sent that. Darlene Berry got it for me when she saw Obama in Madison. I thought Mama Mary might just tape it to her chest. Dad said he called this morning, without me, I might add, and all was good! The girls have a track meet at Wausua W. tonight. Dad has inventory today, which I'm sure he told you, which he says is the cause of his very happy disposition these days! I'm sure we'll be calling on Sunday while you're busy sunning your buns! Enjoy! Counting the days.....love you................madre
