Enjoyed the pictures of your time in Nkubu. I'm sure you made a great impression on the residents there & those working with you at the hospital. They will all miss you, especially the kids. I suppose you are looking forward to your return. We are all anxious to see you again & hear about your trip.
We are still waiting for warm weather here but things are looking green so that helps. Hopefully, it will be sunny & warm when you return.
Take care.........Love...........Grandpa & Grandma

Hi 'Little Explorer',
What fun seeing all your new pics again. You look very professional in that white coat. Just like at the OC Health Center!! That baby is adorable, looks like Shaga in Kindergarten in BH. Maybe a sister, who knows? Poor Dennis, I bet he is missing you too. I keep wondering how long the walk was? Sure hope the weather warms up before you get home. It's only 45* here today, but at least it's sunny. Had alittle rain and snow last night. Are you back in Nairobi Now? I'm sure Mama Mary was anxious to see you again. You will have a busy week at school again---writing, but you are super at it so no worry.
Love and prayers, Grandpa and Grandmother VZ

Hey So good to see your smiley face again! You look great! That little baby in the hospital is adorable. Remember I put in an order for a toddler. Your sistas should be getting home soon from Oshkosh. Not sure how they did, but they did call and say how cold they were! Don't think it will reach 40 today, had snow and ice pellets off and on. It's prom tonight. Meg and friends are getting ready/meeting here. I think Amy's also having a few friends over for the night. Trying to get the wash done and house picked up. I haven't been home much this week. There was a new Greys on Thurs. I haven't seen it yet. Hopefully I can watch it yet today. Great to see the pics. The mt. looks great, what a feat! LOVE & MISSES......mom

You don't know me. I'm from Poughkeepsie, New York. Don's mother, Pearl, was my Aunt. Mary Jane passed on the link to your blog. I am so impressed with what young people are doing today. Unheard of in the 1950's. Enjoy the experience and be well.

Hi Breanne,
What a trooper you are! We've been following you time in
Africa all the way through and have really enjoyed your blogs.
It keeps us in prayer for you. You have had so may experiences
and it sounds like you have love and taken advantage of every
on that you can. You will probably come back with a different outlook
on life. I'm sure that the people there will never forget you. I'm
sure you have made an impression on a lot of people there. It never
sounds like you are homesick but have enjoyed every minute there.
I'm sure your papers will be easy for you too with all you have seen
and done and with your intellegence. We will continue to keep you in
our prayers as you finish out your time there and prayers for a safe
trip home to be reunited with you family.
Today, I will see my doctor and hope that there are still no tumor
counts in my bloodwork. I am feeling well so I think is will be well.
Have a fun time in the remainder that you have there

Have you every wondered what a nebulizer filled with albuteral does to a 10 month old? Just incase this has been on your mind :)), WOW.
It is like giving Alex 'speed' he is so wound up you wonder if his feet or hands are even touching the floor when he is crawling around the house and mach speed. As for Wendy needing to rescue me, Yes Alex is moving around so fast that I was actually braking a sweat chasing him and then picking him up to move him back to the living room.
Enjoy your trip to the coast and treasure your last weeks in Africa. It will be quite the conversation piece. Wendy and I still talk about our time in Europe.
As for the Bull chasing you I could not help but think of your Buddy Lee talking about watching you run from his car. (OK enough of the visuals :))) )
Have a safe trip back!
Aunt Nannny
Oh my goodness! That sister of yours is so funny. Meg - I feel your pain, and I'll have a talk with your dad about that battery also. :-) Back to you, Bre...sounds like you have had a few weeks of craziness. I can't wait to hear about all your hospital experiences in person. It sounds like you will have many to share!! -- Good luck during your final weeks of paper writing. I know what torture those long ones can be!! I also know what a late night owl you are, so maybe a few nights burning the midnight oil and you'll be able to call it good! -- Enjoy your last few weeks there. Can't wait to see you at Meggie's grad. I hope you're not married by then (tee hee)!!! Sounds like the men are hot on your trail.
Love ya,

Hey kid. Yes you should deffinetely go see the Indian Ocean!! Anyways, time is flying and i'm sooo crammed with stuff. I'm trying to study for my AP exams, pretty much just apsuh, cuz yea i didn't do to well on our last final so i should get my butt in gear and study, which i have started finally! So hopefully i do better now! Ummm Wood County meet tomorrow but it can't be in Marshfield like usual since our track sucks, so it's in rapids...yuck! And yea now i'm trying to figure out my whole job situation, figuring out what i should do and all that, i have no CLEAR answer with anything. So AP exams, track, summer work, and senioritis along with crabby teachers all on my back sucks! I want to concentrat just on my ap stuff but i cant. Today was like 75 it was awesome, the wisdom teeth pain is finally close to gone except during track. ummmm well if you plan on coming home the 15 or whatever i'm not going to be there to greet you. The 14 i have AP lang exam and the 16th i'm going to six flags baby!!! I know you're jealous!! Well i hope you have a good last few weeks in Africa!!! Enjoy it while it lasts!!! You'll be home before you know it. O and by the way our moped needs a new battery but of course dad won't get one because we can just jump start it!!!! ahhhh he can make me soooo mad. Maybe if you ask him to get one he will. So do it. L O V E you!!!

Do you really think you can out run that bull? Maybe you run fast, but probably not that fast. It was great to hear your voice the other day and will be even better to see you again in a few weeks. I'm sure there are plenty of things you're missing about "home" by this time.
It sounds like those Kenyans might be getting the best care in town by the mzungu. I can't imagine how difficult and sad it is to experience the inability to provide the care and treatment that you know could be done here. You are doing great things Breanne!
Pray for our "sick bugs" to go away soon. Alex's new name is Wheezy from the Jefferson's. We're doing nebulizer treatments at home and he is crawling circles around us. I have to go home and rescue Ted. We are fortunate to be able to retreat at your mom's house tonight and rest while Meg and Amy play. ;)
Take care!
Patti
I love reading your blogs!! What am I going to do when you actually return to the states? What an experience that keeps getting better and better for you as time goes by...but down to business now huh? Your dad is right, you may have to start using the traditional method of "writing" your papers. I know...yuck! Enjoy every last minute of it all and before you know it...you will be adjusting to life back in the states. Hopefully all the rain we're getting will stop by then! Take care of yourself!
