Brizzanne Breaking news......looks like Farve has retired! Yikes, we're going to have to put Meg on suicide watch! Could be very traumatic, haven't heard that she ran out of school distraught yet. Good thing she got to a game this year. Dad has meetings in Green Bay at the end of this week, so maybe he can get the inside scoop! Career cafe today, so I'm eating very well. I emailed you about Gramps......hopefully he gets out of the hospital today. That's the news.......I'm sure Meg will keep you up on the Pack! Love & misses........

Breanne! You lucky son of a gun...whitewater rafting and bungee jumping! I went whitewater rafting for the first time last year on spring break, just somewhere in georgia I think. But the Nile, that must have been outrageous! And I'm sure glad that snake didn't get you while you waited to jump, that would have been awful, although, I think most snakes kill humans through suffocation, nonetheless, maybe jumping saved your life?! Anywho, I have tons and tons of homework and no ambition! I was in class today when you called, but you only missed me by ten minutes! If it works better to call earlier, I'm always up by 8:00AM! Miss you! Love, Jenna

You're such a daredevil breanne!!! That whole bungee jumping rapid flipping sounds intense, i don't know if i would have been able to handle it all. Sounds like you got some sweets though, so thats a plus!!! A little change up from minnows to cookies and pineapple! I'm going snowbaording this weekend or next weekend, pretty crazy im still saying that Track started and not so many people are out, pretty much no one i know except for the weigels and mollie schmitz, but there still in basketball, but i guess its my own fault since i could be playing too. Zoey is being her old annoying self, shes barking right this minute. I'm still waiting on the word from the school district for a job. Other then that, nothings new, just counting down the days until cancun!!! ROCK ON. Love you!!! and don't get to crazy and wild nile jumper.
Big Daddy
Beezy,
It was good to hear the talks are bringing peace to the country, I feel like I can relax a little about your safety........no wait.....let's go bungee jump from a tower above the Nile! CRAZY KID!
I'm glad you're making the most of your opportunities, just don't let your guard down.
Make sure you find some time to sleep little girl.
Love ya, DAD

Bre-
Glad to hear the peace talks have ended and there is a resolution in place! That's wonderful news and an answer to prayers!
Another busy day in the Dau house. Alex and Adam are with Uncle Dave at a weekend bb tourney in Rock Valley. They stayed overnight at Grams and Gramps last night..so had a good night's rest and an awesome breakfast. Drew started track two days ago so we had to go buy him some running shoes to burn up the track in. :-) And Em is at her friend Katy's house making a video tape for a school project. That ought to be very entertaining to watch!
Can't wait to hear all about your adventures on the Nile!
I love you!

Hey Bre!
Oh my gosh! You have the wildest stories ever!! What an incredible experience. We wonder what you are doing every day, so thanks so much for sharing on this blog. It is amazing to me that we are sitting here in frozen WI just like every other February and you're out on the town getting giraffe kisses and drinking goat's blood (eww!) You go girl and STAY SAFE!! Can't wait for your next entry. Mrs. A
Clearly
CLEARLY, i forgot to tell you that I was just reading about a kid who went on AFS in Egypt and lost 1/3 of his body weight and came back completely emaciated because his host family was stingy and wouldnt give him food. ha! So he's been hospitalized since he got back and i think might sue AFS or the family or something. The funny thing is that the host family is like, "no, he's a liar, he ate enough food for 6 people at every meal" - which explains why he came back weighing less than 100 pounds.... just thought I'd pass that on, if you go to Egypt on the Nile, make sure they don't not feed you so you have to steal food from the market (which he had to do once, because he didn't have enough money and his family wouldnt feed him!).
Good luck, and get fat.
Your #1 Lovah
baaahahah!
your dad wants to sell you for a herd of goats.
I'd say you're more worth their s*** than the actual goats, so good luck, neil.
anyways, i have to go do math homework, miss you b!

Hey Breanne,
I had a bad dream last night that involved suffocation. I wonder where I got that in my head! Really enjoy reading of your ventures, hope you catch a good photo of a 20 ft Nile Crocodile. Bring back some goat blood for me to try! Take Care! Keep having fun!
Amy
Hey Beezy! Reading all your blogs make me really jealous...except the goat roasting pictures. I couldn't believe it when I saw those pictures of the guy drinking from its neck...pretty gross! Rafting on the Nile sounds really fun! I went tanning for the first time last week and now I look like a tomatoe...I'm a lil bit sore. You missed the Oscars, Do they have em in Kenya. Well I better get crackin on my homework since i didn't get a very hot grade on my geometry test :P and ofcourse mom is making my favorite food again...FISH...love you and miss you

I think I gasped while reading the latest from you 5 or 6 times!! What an experience Breanne! This all makes the world seem so small. It seems so unreal at times that you are having these experiences. I'm so excited to share your pictures with the kids and read about everything you have been doing. Keep enjoying every minute of it. By the look on your face in the pictures...I can tell you are! Stay safe and take care!
Aunt Nancy
Ewwwwww! The goat blog and photos grossed this auntie out! Of course your boy cousins thought it was cool and said, "Mom you're such a wimp!" :-) Sounds like you had a great time on your weekend safari. What fun adventures, but did you need to touch that old guy's hair? I'm so glad we can live our lives vicariously through you. I read your blog, pretend I'm there, enjoy a snack while I view your photos, and not worry about a monkey stealing my apple!!! -- We had another blast of winter ice/snow this weekend. NO school on Monday and a late start this morning (Tues.). -- Also, a "little" set back with our house. Our plumber forgot to hook up the trap in Emma's bathtub and water leaked down a pipe and under our wood floor on the main level. We will need to rip almost all of it up, including many of the kitchen cabinets, and trim work. This will delay things for another 2-3 weeks. Good thing Uncle Dave returned from AZ last night all rested and relaxed. He will be burning the midnight oil the next few weeks - ripping out the floor, etc. and then replacing it again. Poor guy! -- Drew's bb team plays their substate game in Sioux City on Wed. night. He's excited about that . No more news from the Daus. Stay safe and remember who loves you!!!
